To configure a segment, first go to Target -> Segments from the dashboard.
We can create a segment by clicking on “New segment” at the top right or edit an existing segment by clicking on “Manage”-> “Edit” next to the selected segment.
Within the segment we can add filters via the “Add filter” button at the top right.

A window will open with the option to choose from existing filters within the library or create a new one.
The filters are divided by type:
- Filtro demografico
- Filtro comportamentale
- Filtro Life Cycle
- Filtro real time
- Imported Filter
Let’s create a new filter by entering the name, choosing the type and finally setting the necessary conditions. In the example below, creating a segment containing all newsletter subscribers

It is possible to combine several filters with each other using logical operators and group these combinations and relate them to others.
In the example below you can see how first an OR of two demographic filters (male users and newsletter subscribers) is done, which will be checked for all users who have at least one of the two characteristics). Then we are going to extract only the users named Bob by putting the previously seen group in AND with the condition Users named Bob.
