The What’s New in a Category trigger is a scheduled trigger that allows you to send a communication containing new articles or content added to a category, viewed, purchased or searched between x and y days.
To configure this filter, ck on Journey – >Triggers> – Scheduled and on the “New trigger” button at the top.
In the basic settings , you can also enter the following fields:
- Name: enter the name you want to assign to the trigger;
- Description: enter a full description of the trigger:
- Segment: select the segment to which you want to send the trigger (for this trigger, it is mandatory to select a segment);
In step 3 of the configuration, select the “What’s new in a Category” trigger.
After selecting the trigger, click on “Next”.
At this point you will be able to set the Advanced Configurations.
You can trigger the trigger on a specific type of action:
- Purchase
- Product View
- Adding to Cart
- Research
It is also possible to check if the product that is back in stock is new or has been restocked.
It is possible to choose the time range from which and for how many days to examine the data.
